Anguis graeca

Distributed in Mainland Greece, including northern parts of Peloponnese. It is also found in Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.
In southern parts of Peloponnese, its relative Anguis cephallonica is to be found.
The taxonomy of Anguis is still being researched – and perhaps some changes are still to happen.
